Collaboration
The international affairs and external communication (IAEC) office facilitates the official communication and liaison between IUT and external academic institutions for establishing collaboration. It also maintains and manages all sort of documentation related to collaboration.

Vision and Mission
The vision of the international affairs and external communication office is:
              To contribute towards flourishing IUT in a global setting.

The missions of the international affairs and external communication office are:
  • To augment the institutional profile through global linkages and connectivity.

  • To foster a multicultural expatriate community in terms of quality and quantity.

  • To enhance the scholarly image of the university by facilitating academic and research collaboration.

  • To become the focal point for IUT's internationalization.
  • The leadership of the university, i.e., the branding of the university in a global perspective.

  • The international involvement of the faculty members, especially in collaborative research with faculty members of renowned universities.

  • The availability, affordability, accessibility, and transferability of study abroad programs for students.

  • The presence and integration of international students, scholars and visiting faculty members into campus life.

  • International co-curricular units, e.g., halls of residence, career centres, cultural centres, language houses, and student organisations.

  • Services to international students, faculty members and staffs, e.g., accommodation and visa assistance.

    Student Counselling
    The IAEC office provide student counselling in order to better help and understand our students and therefor unlocking there potentials.
    Airport Pickup
    Assisting new international students by facilitating airport pick-ups and drop-off at the IUT campus
